On September 30th, we hosted an “Ocean Class” at the Kakogawa Maritime Culture Center located in Kakogawa City in Hyogo Prefecture, where one of our main customers, Kobe Steel, Ltd., is located. We helped local children and their parents make their own moving boats with readily available materials around us and also helped them think about the ocean environment problems.
As part of our ESG activities, we have been conducting this event every year as volunteers since 2020, with the aim of deepening participants’ understanding and interest in the ocean and ships through experiential learning sessions.
