Emergency Response Drill Conducted for Vessel Incident

On November 5, our company conducted an emergency response drill simulating a serious maritime accident involving our owned and operated bulk carrier Asahi Maru (85,000 DWT). The scenario assumed a collision with a coastal tanker in Kobe Port, resulting in an oil spill of heavy fuel oil from the tanker.

This drill was carried out with the cooperation of external stakeholders and involved all relevant personnel, including our company president. We regularly conduct such training exercises to ensure a swift and effective response in the event of an actual emergency.
