ESG Activity : Ocean Class on September 28th, 2024

On September 28th, we hosted an “Ocean Class” at the Kakogawa Maritime Culture Center located in Kakogawa City in Hyogo Prefecture, where one of our main customers, Kobe Steel, Ltd., is located. It was held 2nd time of this event in this year which is following to hold at Kobe City on April 6th, also 6th time it was held at Kakogawa City and we studied problem of Ocean environment after that enjoyed making the boat by readily available materials around us together with local children and their parents. As part of our ESG activities, we have been conducting this event every year as volunteers since 2020, with the aim of deepening participants’ understanding and interest in the ocean and ships through experiential learning sessions.
